Since I recorded a video on to my tape recorder, can I import the videos from
the tape recorder by using a dv cable?
 
Tape recorder, or camcorder? If the latter, does it have a DV port (4
pin)? If so, do you have IEE1394 port (six pin) in your computer? If
so, do you have the necessary driver for your camcorder? If so, do you
have the proper cable to connect the two ports? If you say yes to all
the above, you most likely can import your video to MM2.

If its a VCR you can save via a TV capture card and coaxial cable connection
