Question on windows media player 11

I have Windows Media Player 11 pre-installed with my new laptop. Am working
on Windows Vista. The media player is working fine when I play both audio
and video except towards the last few minutes where there is slight
intermitent. When I play those on my phone its fine. Can anyone tell me
what's the problem? Had never had such problem with Media Player before and
it gets very annoying. Please help!!!

Are you using a pirated CD/DVD? Is the CD/DVD scratched?

I've got the same problem and came onto this site to see if anyother person
has experienced this. The CD's are all originals and not pirated, it's
driving me insane with about 10 to 15 second left in the song it sounds like
it's jumping or skipping need suggestions urgently for this as it sucks.

This is a common problem with the current SigmaTel drivers. Do you have a
SigmaTel audio adapter? Have you searched for updated SigmaTel drivers? As a
work around, right click on the speaker icon in the Notification Area of the
Taskbar, select Playback Devices,
right click on the Speakers area, look for a tab that has enhancements on it
(don't have a SigmaTel adapter, so I am not sure which tab has enhancements),
DESELECT all enhancements and this should solve your problems.
