Outlook 2002 - is it possible to programmatically change the newsreader that
is launched by going to View-GoTo-News to say, OE-Quotefix?

I think the News command always opens the default newsreader as defined in
Control Panel | Internet Options (Programs tab)...if you can get the
OE-Quotefix program to appear in the dropdown there, it should work, but I
don't know if that's possible.

You can change the hyperlink to point to any exe you want - tools,
customize, right click on the toolbar button and choose customize. At the
bottom is hyperlink, type or paste the path to the exe.
