Hello

Either I am tired or have a blank but I have set up OL03 numerous times.
This time I am drawing a blank for the following.

Set up OL03 with my Mail Info. I checked SPA since my account is a Legacy
POP3 from MSN dating back to 95.
My pop and smtp is correct in the fields as is my logon and password.So is
my ady and name which are not aliases.
My other system is set the same way and OL 00 is working like a gem.

Now on this W2K3 system with OL03 when I try Send\Receive I get 2 errors but
each error is at one time. I other words
when I try Send\Receive first I get the following.

"Task'pop3.email.msn.com-Receiving'reported error(0x800ccc18):'your e-mail
server rejected your login with Secure Password Athentication.Verify your
account properties."


NOW when I try a second time the Send Receive I get the following.

"Task 'pop3.email.msn.com-Receiving' reported error (0x800ccc92): 'Your
e-mailserver rejected your login.Verify your user name and password in your
account properties."

Like I mentioned above I have checked and rechecked in these properties and
also against my other systems. They are all the same. Correct
Login,Password,SPA checked,good name and valid email.

Problem solved. Rerun the OL Setup over the top with all settings in Mail
\Properties as it was and all is fine. Still wondering and very curious as
to what was the cause of this error.
