Outlook 2003 not accepting my correct POP3 email password

Hi there,

When I try to send/recieve my gmail acct from outlook, it asks me for my
network password, which I enter correctly and it just keeps flashing the box
back up at me and not accepting my correct password. When I hit cancel, it
gives me this error message.


Task 'pop.gmail.com - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92) : 'Your e-mail
server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your
account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts. The server
responded: -ERR [AUTH] Username and password not accepted.'

ddi you follow the instructions at gmail when you set up the account? Double
check your settings against gmail.
