I just installed SP2 on my computer. It had SP1 on it and
is using Windows XP Home Edition. When I restarted it the
normal Windows XP Home Edition logo screen was gone, and
it was replaced with just a Windows XP logo, the green
baar is gone, a blue one is in it's place. Is this ok, and
is normal?

Thanks

Same here. Those seem to just be graphical diffrences,
letting you know that you have SP2 because beside the
firewall ( which you should already have), an Antivirus
monitor ( which you should already know how to do) and
automatic system update notification ( which you should
also know how to do), sp2 doesnt really make itself stand
out from SP1

Yes. They have stopped distinguishing the increasing number of variants
by the splash screens
