Question about product key for MS Office

I bought a laptop at Office Depot which had Office on it, and just found
out to use the PPS viewer I need a product key. I did not get an Office
CD, only the usual restore disk. How do I go about getting the
product key for this program? Is it on my machine somewhere?

If it matters it's a Gateway computer.
