I have a wireless network at home consisting of two computers and two
printers in the following configuration. My WinXP (SP2) machine is
cable connected to a wireless router. This computer is connected by a
USB cable to a laser printer. My Win98SE machine, which has an inkjet
printer connected by USB cable, uses an 802.11b connection to connect
to the network.
I am beginning to do a bit of Photoshop work on the WinXP computer.
However, due to space considerations, I need to print to the shared
inket, which is in another room. Here is my question: When I send
the print job from my WinXP computer over the network to the inkjet,
does it use the Epson printer driver from the XP machine or the driver
from the Win98SE machine to which it is directly connected? I am
concerned about the proper color profiles that Photoshop and/or
Windows expects are in place. TIA.
