Question about DHTML scripts

Has anyone provide me information how to make a DHTML script/page to enhance (my) component customization capability
Thank's.
 
Just a couple of quick comments before you go that route:
- you can use simple dhtml pages for you component with no hurt (scripts may be just for UI logic).
- if you plan to make more deep component UI customization that will require some access to XPE DB or configuration, you will need
to learn CMI. Keep in mind now that CMI is undocumented.
