Question about a Modem Log file

Hi

I am trying to connect a Win2000professional system to an embedded sysem by
using a Communications cable between two computers (COM1)- PPP connection,
embedded systems only receives ATE1, nothing else.
Win2000 machine receives PPP packets(LCP configure), I could see on the
Pre_dial In window.
When I checked the modem logfile it says waiting for response also an error
message-WriteFile() Failure, Error=000003e3.

When embedded system receives this ATE, I have respond with
CLIENTSERVER
CLIENTSERVER
The above doesn't help

Any Suggestions..

Thanks
ahilan
