question about 2000 server smtp

I have windows 2000 server and a domain name.

How can I set up email so people can send mail to (e-mail address removed) using
the
windows 2000 smtp virtual server.

What is this and can I use this do set up email server?

You would need an Exchange server. That will handle all the incoming and
outgoing mail.

Or if that is overkill for this network, Kerio Mail Server might do the
trick. I haven't used it, but I know people who have, and like it.
