Query---anti-virus

My anti-virus program is constantly sending a message
that it has intercepted the following,
'C:\program files\support.com\client\Iserver\server.vbs',
and advises that I block this.

Does anyone know what this may be.

Depending on who you listen to its either spyware or a legitimate support
program installed by your computer supplier.

Do you own a Sony Vaio by any chance?
