I downloaded the fix from microsoft to protect my home XP
machine from the blaster worm. But when I try to install
it, I get the following error message:
WEUpdate cannot retrieve information needed for setup
from database.

The down loaded filename is Q823980_XPE_SP2_X86_ENU.EXE

What is going on?

No AV here. The only firewall active is WinXP's own. Would that make a
difference?
