Update for NTdll.dll fails

I can't execute the Q815021 update. I get a QFE Installer Error Message.
It says the WEUpdate cannot retrieve information needed from database.
Dell says I have to reinstall my operating system.

See if this helps:

Go to
http://www.michna.com/kb/WxSP2.htm#Cannot_install_Service_Pack_2

Look for fixdb.bat under "Error 0x800710D9 Unable to read from
or write to the database". Download and run it.

I appreciate the suggestion. I tried fixdb.bat, but I received the same
error message.
