PXE Error

Here is what happens:
Windows 2k domain w/ Ris
I had it working, ended up having to scrap that server (My
raid container went dead :-<)
Anyhow RIS was working just fine before. I reinstalled
windows on the new server, set everything up.... risetup
check shows all is fine..

MY PXE client is using the intel Gigabit LOM network card
if you want to know..
Here is exactly what happens:

Client gets IP address from DHCP fine
then the following lines:

TFTP.
PXE - T02: Access Denied
PXE - E3C: TFTP Error - Access Violation
PXE - M0F: Exiting Intel Boot Agent

I've check to make sure my Remoteinstall share and all
subdirectories have SYSTEM with full controll.

Any ideas????

Thanks for the help

Hi

You have to authorise the RIS server as you do a dhcp
server.
Give that a try first.

The closest thing to authorizing I can find is checking
Respond to client computers requesting service in the
properties of the server in Active Directory for Users and
Computers, I have unchecked Do not respond to unknown
client computers also. Still not working..same error. I
think it has something to do with Active directory... I
think AD is still holding some kind of information from
the old ris server...not sure though.
