putting my pics together

I am wondering if anyone can give me a suggestion about software that will
help me put my pictures together into a book like form to print out. I would
like to share my pics with my friends and co-researchers. I don't need
anything terribly professional, but something that will look nice when I
print it and can handle many pages of pictures.

I wonder if the following site would be useful to you:

And if you prefer to use software...maybe
MS Digital Image Suite 2006 would be useful
to you. It has many choices of pre-formatted
templates for album pages, collages, etc. and
you can create your own from scratch.

There are many excellent tutorials at the
following sites:

Microsoft Digital Image Starter Edition 2006
is a downloadable 60 day trial version with
much of the functionality of MS Digital Image
Suite 2006.

Once your 60 day trial period has ended, the
program will de-feature to minimal functionality.

Unlike the retail version...the trial does not
have the ability to create VCDs and does
not support RAW files.

Be aware that it's a 109 MB download....
