Put page numbers on part of a document and/or restart page number

In Word 2000 -- I need to number part of a document and then stop the
numbering and restart it again a few pages later.

That is I might have pages numbered 1-5 - then a few pages with no page
numbers and then start numbring pages again beginning with 1.

Insert section breaks around the no-number section. Each section can have
its own headers and footers, with or without pages numbers as required.
