alright, i pulled probably the stupidest move you could do, i was going
through my add/remove programs, cuz there was alot of chit on there that was
bogging down my computer and honestly it was a bunch of junk, but while
cleaning it out, i accidently removed my soundmax, so now i have no sound
whatsoever. I'm completely clueless on what to do, i bought this computer
from my dad, and he downloaded everything on here, so i guess my question is,
is there any way to get my sound back??? i don't have any cdroms or disks,
for my sound. any advice would be helpful, not sure if i'll remember how to
get back here, so if need be you could always email me at (e-mail address removed)
..... or i'll try and find my way back here thank you

Get a copy of the Belarc Advisor from www.belarc.com.
This program will inventory your computer hardware and software.
When you know the make and model of the sound card (or sound chip on the MB)
Do a Google for "drivers [name of your sound card]
You should be able to find drivers you can download off the net.

Click Start.
Click Run.
In the box, type msinfo32 and click OK.
On the left of the System Information window expand the Componenets item.
Click Sound Device.
On the right you will see the name of your hardware, manafacturer, and
driver. You can google anyone of these and find what you need.
