Pull-down boxes that worked under 98 & earlier don't display

I have been using Managing Your Money V2.1. When I upgraded to XP &
reinstalled t he program pull-down lists for number and catagory only display
for a fraction of a second, but ones for Account & include are normal. I
tried all compatibility settings, including Windows 2000. Any ideas for a
work-around or fix will be greatly appreciated. Running on a Dell Dimension
XPS T450.

The application is no longer supported by the developer. The product was
sold to one or more banks and withdrawn from the private market.
