Publishing to Local Folder

O

Oscar

I recently created a simple web for a friend using FP2000, and published
them to my local hard drive. It's just the basics - no theme, no FP
components, etc. The plan is to burn them to a disc, so that he can upload
them to a server via FTP. I noticed the newly-published web also includes
several hidden folders: _private, _overlay, _vti_cnf, and _vti_pvt. The
first two subfolders are empty, but the other two include files. Is there
any reason he will need these subfolders, and/or need to ftp them to his
server? Thanks for your help.

He will not need the _vti folders. However do not delete them from your local copy.
