Publishing help

Guest

I went to publish my website, it said it would publish then when I would
check online it hadnt done anything.

Then I tried publishing using FTP, that took my website completly offline,
and cannot be found.

Now when I try to publish I get the following error "Servor error: Cannont
open ".frontpage-httpd.conf": no such file or folder"

Any help is appreciated on this, thanks

By using FTP to a site with the FP server extensions installed, you have
corrupted/destroyed them. You must now contact your host to fix/reinstall
them. You must always http publish to an extensions enabled site.

As far as not seeing the changes, did you clean out your temp internet
files, windows temp files?
Does your host cache web pages before changes take effect?

When you published using FTP you broke the FrontPage extensions.
Have your host reset / re-install them, and then make sure you always
publish using http://

Also, after you publish, clear you browser history and temporary internet
files and "Then" check your updated pages.
