Publishing FP 2003 & Root

How do I stop the Front Page Publisher from publishing everything to the root.
I'm using Comcast as my ISP. Do I have to go to the ISP and create the
folder first or will FPO create a new folder for me.

FrontPage will publish your web exactly as you have it constructed.
Anything you have in the "root folder" ( the folder named for your web ) will be published to the
root of the live web.
If you have folders full of files in your root, the folders and their contents will be published to
the root on the server.
Your homepage is the only file that *must* live in the root.

Then Front Page will auotmatically create the folder and sub folders with the
same name as my local name. i.e I do not need to specify the name.

Correct.
If you're publishing to the server for the first time, FrontPage will automatically create any
folders required when it publishes your web to the server.

It will also rename your home page to what ever file name is required by the server for the default
document.

After you publish you may want to open check the server version of your web, and if your home page
file name has been changed, rename it to the same on your local copy and let FrontPage update
hyperlinks when prompted, and then publish one more time.
This will save some confusion later.
