publishing error message fp2002

I created two forms on my web. Then I made one of them a
subweb and then decided to delete the subweb. Now
everytime I try to publish even a one page web I get the
same error message. The message I get is: "Server error.
The folder that would hold URL
viewdata2.asp/overlay/viewdata2.asp_nav_indust010_hbtn.gif
does not exist on the server." At this point I can't
publish anything. I created viewdata2 so I could view
database results, but deleted it too. Can anyone help me
overcome this problem please. thanks Jerry

Have you tried the usual repairs in the sequence below:
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
Usually in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
- in FP 2003 you need to look in the super hidden folder
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\FrontPageTempDir
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
3) Open your FP Web/Site and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks

PS
Always delete any content or subwebs w/i FP to allow FP to adjust it's META data
