Publishing Difficulties

I am having major publishing problems. I can't publish via Live on the
web or from my local to the web.

To be more clear, when I publish live i hit - open web, my network places,
then click on mywebsite.com and I get the message - "You do not have
permission to access to this web folder location "

When I publish from my local, I get the message: " http://mywebsite.com
does not exist, would you like FrontPage to create a web at that location?"

Has anyone seen these prompts before when trying to publish?

Thanks

Also try the site w/ & w/o a trailing forward slash
http://mywebsite.com and http://mywebsite.com/
Try opening you online site in FP File Open Site and enter the URL above

No, does not make a difference. On another note, my husband did download a
service pack from XP and someone else in this discussion group mentioned they
are now having difficultires publishing too. I will try the advice given to
him. I am really concerned with the error message I get when I try to
publish - that teh website does not exist. I am not making any connection
to the server for some reason.

My host keeps saying "we can post to it" so obviously in other words, they
believe the problem is my end.

I will also uninstall and reinstall my extension I guess......
