Published movie is low quality

I have tried various ways to "publish" my most recent movie, but it keeps
publishing it with such a low quality. I have done movies in the past, and
they turned out fine, but this one has lower quality photos-- almost blurred
and discolored. I am using windows vista. Any suggestions? I have tried
publishing to CD, the "best quality for playback on my computer," and other
high quality settings. What else can I do?

Are the source files high resolution?
