FrontPage 2000, Windows 2000 SP2
Description (sorry this is long, but I can't think of anything else to do).
I have created an animation which has two problems.

I have one soccer team kicking a ball across the screen from left to right
(27 frames for a total of 6 seconds) and the other soccer team kicking the
ball to return it, from right to left (28 frames for another 6 seconds). I
will be speeding it up with the next revision. The GIF image file (600
pixels by 300 pixels) is 353 KB. Since each active object is so small, and
each works independently one after another, once it's loaded, there doesn't
seem to be any slow-down or stress on the internet.
Problem 1
I rendered the vector objects onto a black background (the theatre screen is
black also), and then cropped the images of the excess edges. In frames
1-27, the frames now have a "white-stroke" boundary even though my stroke
palette was set at null all through the process of creating the graphics.
Before I cropped the images (in my graphics program) these white boundaries
did not show. In frames 28-56 this does not occur because cropping the
returning soccer ball was not necessary.
Problem 2
a. Beneath the animation graphic (theatre screen) we are supposed to be
seeing a copyright notice beneath the "audience." (not getting published)
b. The next paragraph is not in its table cell (which was added several
"publishes" ago, but is not getting published.
c. The URL for the Wizaerd Forum is still a long one (I shortened it
several "publishes" ago, using FP's procedure of visiting the website.
Those last three notes show what seems to have happened at the same time
during a revision. I have recalculated hyperlinks and did "Publish Web"
again. When I'm in FrontPage and make a change on that page, and save it, it
still registers as not saved (with the asterisk in Window). If I go to File,
Save from the main File menu, the asterisk in Window goes away for that
page, but Publish Web is not sending the changes over. All parts of the
contents on the page are contained in table cells, though on the internet,
the later table cells haven't been transferred.
I have also deleted the FrontPage temporary files, history files and
temp/tmp files (browser cache). My Java Script is version 3810 and works
everywhere else. I just did a search for *.web and have nothing listed. I
have 15 MB server space but am only using 11 MB. This last time when I
"Published Web" I published all pages, overwriting those on the destination
web.
With no resolve, I had the server re-enable FP extensions, recalculated
hyperlinks again, and did Publish All Pages again to overwrite all on the
destination site.
Does someone recognize a problem? And could Problems 1 and 2 be connected at
all?
