Publish or Save to PDF in Excel 2007

I used to be able to save as a PDF file in Excel 2007 beta, until around
September, probably when an update installed. I have tried downloading the
Microsoft add-in to publish as XPS and PDF, but everytime I try I just get a
"Document not saved" dialog box. Any suggestions welcome!

I'm not sure hat is going on here, but I am beginning to think the add-in
only works with RTM version of Office 2007.

I am drawing a blank with anyone at MS, but I suspect this is the issue.

Certainly Excel's file format was changing up to B2TR1 and therefore there
may have been some tweaks between the add-in from B2, B2TR1 and RTM.

Unfortunately I think only the RTM version is now available

Hmm, could be. I had wondered if it was withdrawn due to some
dispute/discussions with Adobe. Anyway, guess we will have to wait and see.

No the Adobe one was built in at B1, but removed after the row. The add-in
has always been 3rd party

In the trial version, you can find the add-on, but it won't validate you. It
wants you to "convert" (purchase). When you follow the convert link, it takes
you to the trail version page. I had everything working in the beta, now I'm
hosed. Does anyone know why you can't buy a license key?

Most of us think this is very silly from MS, but trial versions do not work
with add-ins. I believe that if you load *any* valid version of Office on
(e.g. 2003) then it will pass validation and you will be able to download
and install. Otherwise it looks like you will need to wait until Jan 30th to
buy the product
