YES, there should be.
A. RC1 and RC2 have issues. It would be nice to try the RTM to see if the
issues have been resolved.

B. MS turned off the download of RC2 - so if you did not get it in time,
you still have RC1 - some are still on Beta 2.

C. It is still about 2 months away for the RTM to be released and available
for sale. Again, I have LOTS of software issues - many companies like
Symantec, EMC, Trendmicro only have beta products - that may or may not work
with RC1 or RC2. It would be nice to test with the final product to see if I
can get enough software to work with it to make it usable on its release
date, or if I need to wait for other vendors to get updates before I can buy
it.

Also, do you know when the MS Action Packs will have the Vista RTM?

RTM = Release to Manufacturing = Release to manufacturers for inclusion on a
new PC and release to stores for sale.

Buy your public release in January.

You can still get RC1, but have to join the Technet group. You don't have to
be a "Technet plus" member.....

public 30-60 day trial version of Vista released for download on December
1st. Was that decided to be false, or did everyone forget about it?
