PUBLIC FOLDERS: Unable to display the folder

G

Guest

HI,
Our Exchange server has some PUBLIC FOLDERS that I can access when using
Outlook XP or 98. However, when I use Outlook 2003 I get the following error
message:
-------------------
Unable to display the folder

Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the
specified folder location. The operation failed.
--------------------

This happens whenever I click on the root (PUBLIC FOLDERS) or any of the
subfolders that I have access to.

I am running Windows XP Pro (SP2), Office XP Pro (SP1).
I made sure I have all the latest patched for the OS and Office.
I used the Detect and Repair feature of Outlook and that didn't fix the
problem

Any suggestion?

Hello Rodolfo,
Please verify the following on the Exchange server you are connecting to:
Right click "Public Folders" in Exchange System Manager and click
Properties.
In the Properties dialog select Security. Make sure the Everyone group has
"create named properties in the information store" allowed with NO Denies.
