Public Folders in Mail Folder

We are upgrading campus-wide from Office 2000 to Office 2003 and we've run
into a glitch. Our campus has several public folder items in Outlook on our
Exchange Server including calendars for various departments. In Outlook 2000,
the public folder is viewable in the Mail Folders list. In Outlook 2003 it is
not. We'd like to have it listed there along with the Archive Folders and
Personal Folders and Mailbox. According to the instructions we could transfer
everything to a favorites folder so it's shown in the section above "All Mail
Folders" however this isn't really feasible for us. Any suggestions? Am I
just missing something in being able to add that as an option in my "All Mail
Folders" list?

Thanks!

Thanks, Sue. I was afraid that was the answer. You know how folks don't like
change. ;-)

Thanks so much for your help!

The Mail Folders pane shows ... only mail folders. You'll see the other
folders in the Folder List pane and also in the Shortcuts pane if you want
to add them there.

Better yet, show your users how to add a calendar folder to Public
Folders\Favorites. It will then automatically be listed on the Calendar
pane.

Make sure they know the folder list view is still available and how to
access it (we get a lot of questions asking what happened it the folder
list) - and hopefully they'll slowly learn to like the new navigation
features.
