Public folder search is possible ?

Hi, sorry to bother you, but my company have big problem.
We have outlook 2000 and exchange 2000 public folder's, we
need to do a recursive search of message stored in public
folder (subfolder search, like the folder search in .pst).
Is there any custom form or vbs that can do that ?
i have searched in all samples/codes sites arounds

I know that this the subfolder search in public folder is
not possible "by design", but i think that with a sample
code (oft, vbs or vba), this should be possible or not ?
