Hi there!

I was hoping someone here could tell me what kind of psu i should be looking at getting, for a pc with the following specs:

Board: MSI K9N
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+
RAM: Crucial Technology 1GB 240-Pin DDR2
Graphics: Geforce 7600GT 256MB
Sound: HDA Digital X-Mystique 7.1

Not sure what other specs might be useful....

But anyways! Any ideas what sort of psu would be good for me?

The total Watts is important but the Total Amperage Available on the +12V Rail(s) is the most important, followed by the +5V amperage and then the +3.3V amperage. Because of the increased power consumption of the new high-power video cards the recommended minimum for +12V is 26A, for SLI 35A.

So, something over 400W min and just to give you a little more overhead, say around 500W, nVidia SLi certified & dual-rail.

My recommendation ...

I have a Enermax ELT500AWT on order too, they get good reviews - try a google search. :)
