This is probably an old chestnut, so excuse my naivety.
I am trying to import Office Data Files into Outlook. Basically emails and address books from a different machine, but exactly same version Outlook Basic 2003.
The file types menu within import wizard does not list Office Data Files as an option, only .pst. I have exported/ imported pst files in the past from earlier versions Outlook, so this was all familiar.
If you try to cheat through all files tab at the bottom, it says that your Office Data File is not a pst file and can't be imported.
Yet if you export an address book or email folder from Outlook 2003, choosing the pst option, you end up with an Office Data File.
Confused?!
Can someone help me sort what I am sure is small beer to Outlook gurus...
