.pst not compatible with this version (Outlook 2002 SP3)

I reformatted my HD and reinstalled XP. Now I can't import the .pst I
exported from Outlook 2002 back into the same version Outlook 2002. I just
get the ".pst is not compatible with this version" message.

As posted often; niether Export nor Import is the correct way to manage a
pst.
Assuming your pst is located on the hd, and the read only flag is off,
within OL simply open the pst.

If the error still occurs then try scanpst.exe, the repair tool, if this
cannot repair then it is safe to assume that the pst was corrupted in the
export process.
For future refference, with OL *closed* simply copy the pst.

If you see this message, then it's clear that the PST was created with
Outlook 2003 or later.
