I was just moving my outlook .pst file from one computer to another...and had
numerous problems. I think I've solved them-but I believe one was related to
the .pst file format. My .pst file is originally from an older version of
Outlook. I notice they have changed the format of the .pst file - is if you
get the properties of your pst file, there is format listed. Mine says
"Personal Folders File (97-2002)".

Thinking forward, I imagine that I am going to want to change that to 2003
format...any suggestions?

thanks,

kevin

ps I'm in outlook 2003, on xp pro

Just remember that the new format is not backward compatible. (this means
that the file can't be opened in earlier versions of outlook.)

I don't care about backwards compatibility. I've been on 2003 for a while,
but didn't notice I was using an old format until I was moving from one
computer to another...
