No 'what's new' information, the author seems to be busy.

What's your favorite between the 3 following code editors and why :
- PSPad,
- Context
- Crimson Editor

Out of contest : Vi(m), (X)Emacs ;-)

I really can't decide on that. I like all of them, and especialy ConTEXT
because it's from Croatia (I'm from Croatia!), but also because ConTEXT
just feels right, calm and unclutered interface...

I also like SciTE.

Actually the "what's new" information is located in the help file after
you install the product. It appears that his web page update log lags
behind programming changes to the editor itself - which I can live with.

Personally I think PSPad is close to perfection (I would still like to
see folding source capability and a macro language interface). I have
tried numerous commercial editors like Ultra-Edit, Textpad, MED, Multi-
Edit and SlickEdit but cannot justify the amount of money they feel their
products are worth compared to FREE offerings. Other free alternatives
to PSPad seem to be missing components I use in programming day to day,
Scite is nice but options must be edited via ini file changes. AnyEdit
appears to be abandoned ware. Crimson, Context, SourceEdit are really
nice editors, but I attribute my choice to the performance I get while
editing large source files. Especially when syntax-highlighting or
column mode is in effect. Most editors either shine or fail miserably
during this stage. Its hard to be critical with the availability of a
Free editor, these authors should be commended for giving the community a
choice.

Thanks for sharing your point of view. I have just noticed I missed
another well-known code editor : Html-kit ; plenty of my friends use
it, probably on the basis of its numerous features ; yet I have
never been able to be at ease with its complicated interface and its
very numerous plugins.

But, yes, I must say, PSPad is the best of them. It has best from all
worlds.
