Proxy settings through GPO

M

Mike.

I want to impose proxy settings through GPO on AD. My DCs
are 2003.

There was an ADM in NT4 which allowed me to do this but I
can't find an ADM with the equivalent functionality for AD.

I have asked this before without success. Maybe there
isn't one but I would have thought there will be.

Any help appreciated.

Mike.

Hi Mike.
If you open your group policy editor, then browse to 'User
Configuration/Windows Settings/Internet Explorer Maintenance/Connection' you
should see the settings there.
If you are going to set this automatically, it's probably worth disabling the
property page for Proxy Settings within IE by setting the property at
'User Configuration/Admin Templates/Windows Components/Internet Explorer'
within the GPO as well.
