GPO for MS Word "Margins"

F

Francisco

Sorry if I posted this in the incorrect discussion group.

I have been asked if it's possible to create a GPO that sets the margins on
MS Word 2003. I have installed the Word ADM on my Windows 2003 Server, but
it doesn't look like its possible through the ADM. If anyone knows of a GPO
on how to set the margins for MS Word, or someway of doing this please let me
know.
Thanks,
Frank

Hello Francisco,

Better post this to a Word NG like:
microsoft.public.word.pagelayout
microsoft.public.word.customization.menutoolbars

Best regards

As far as I know, the margins setting sticks with the document and/or
the .dot-template. If you have the wish to set the margins as a
mandatory setting, edit the normal.dot which is the document template
for word and edit the margins there. Then deploy the normal.dot which a
script and replace the existing one on the clients.

cheers,

Florian
