Hi there!
I have 3 XP Pro/Home machines and 1 laptop networked with XPpro machine with
ICS.
How can I control the bandwith the of the internet connection for every ICS
client?
I understand that XPP doesn't have incorporated Proxy server. Could anyone
sugest some software solutions?
(preferably free ones)

In general you can't. You can share it, but for Free, unless you setup
another PC you can't.

Few "proxy servers" will manage and restrict bandwidth. Even "high-end" ones
with thriple digit price tags like ISA Server will only set "prioities" on
bandwidth and not actually any specific bandwidth numberical limit.
"Traffic Shaping" is an expensive technology if you wish to manage it in
detail,...they even make special hardware boxes for this purpose that cost
lots of $$$.

As far as simply sharing the connection that can be done with ICS that has
been in every Windows OS since Win98SE.
