proxy authentication in outlook 2003

i tried configuring outlook 2003 to use msn mail using internet e-mail
settings.
Outlook is not able to connect to msn.
the error reported is "proxy authentication required"
I can connect to internet only through a proxy server, but where do I give
this informtion in outlook to make outlook connect to the net using proxy
authentication?

In the Internet E-mail connection settings I have specified "connect using
my LAN"
