Problems with HTTP proxy

Hi everybody!

I've been using Outlook XP to access my Hotmail account for a while,
and it has been working fine so far. To get through the firewall it
uses Internet Explorer settings for connecting (via an automatic
configuration script). A dialog box prompting for the HTTP proxy user
name and password pops up, I fill it and that's it.

However yesterday this stopped working. Now I get the error:

Your proxy requires you to authenticate. Contact your network
administrator for assistance. The server responded 'Proxy
Authentication Required'.

And no dialog box prompting for the HTTP proxy user name and password
pops up any more.

Does anyone have an idea of what might have happened? Thanks in
advance!
