Proxomitron with IE6 hangs ie6 and win2k to boot

I have this problem too on XP. I have W2K at work and no problem.
Tried reinstall... twice. Web pages with JavaScript seem to cause the
hang. I haven't disabled JS - not sure if it can be turned off.

It's been a month since the last post. Any resolution?

I have the same problem, only with WinXP Pro SP1. If I turn on the
"use proxy" setting the browser hangs on the first click, every time.
If I try to use taskmon, it will hang and no more processes can be
started or stopped and the OS is effectively dead.

It happens with any browser and with any proxy (IE6, Opera,
Proxomitron, Privoxy).

I found the problem. Privoxy plus the lastest ZoneAlarm. I had to
completely uninstall ZoneAlarm.
