Prompting for Password Repeatedly even with save box checked

I have a POP3 account and have all of the settings on the account saved
properly. And I've checked save password on the prompt. However, I get a
prompt to enter my email password almost every two minutes. It's really
annoying and I tried to use Office 2003 repair but it didn't work. Please
help.
