Prompting for OS on boot up

I'm running XP Pro. On booting up I get prompted for which OS to run. Both
options are "Windows XP Professional". What's up and how do I remedy?

Disregard the instructions from SAMRATS. They will not fix this
specific problem and could even make things worse.

Use Start - Run - MSCONFIG
Go to the BOOT.INI tab and click on the button for "Checkl All Boot
Paths". That should sort out the duplicate entries in the BOOT.INI
file, which is the cause of your problem.
