promise controllers...aargh

Hi:

I just installed a promise controller Fastraktx100 ATA 133 and its
working fine if I have a hard drive setup to it, but when I replace the
hard drive with an Iomega internal zip drive I see it detect it, but
then it says it can't load drivers because it can't detect it and my
system hangs.

What gives??? any ideas??? I'd rather not go through the hassle of
moving my hard drives to the controller and putting the zip drive on the
motherboard as I dont' want to mess up my drive letters and I just want
the better performance through the motherboard.

Anyone else have this problem with these controllers or know how to fix it?

I've updated the bios on the card but still it doesn't work with the zip
drive.

Thanks for the help.

Remove the jumpers from the zip drive and try again assuming its a 250
zip, The 100 internal normally gives no problems!!
