projector searches for movie before playing it : (

Hi

i have a slide show with movies in it. when it gets to a movie the projector
screen goes blue while it searches for it. it always finds and displays the
movie eventualy its just annoying because there are a lot of movies and we
always miss the first bit.

any help?

It sounds like your graphics driver is set to show all videos full screen.
This usually causes the projector to lose sync. What you are seeing is that
and then the sync coming back. Here's some info for the ATI driver:

The NVIDIA driver is different. You also go into the advanced settings or
the NVIDIA Control Panel. Look for "Modify full-screen options." Select
"Only show it in my viewing application."

Depending on the driver versions for both ATI and NVIDIA you may see
variations of their respective advance settings interfaces. Post back if
you're using the Intel graphics chip. I don't have one with me to check but
the concept is similar for all of them.
