When using the projector the dcomputer screen extrends on to the projector
scrren - ie the pointer moves from the right hsandside of the comuter scrren
and appears on the projector screen insted of the projector duplicating the
computer

Your computer is setup to have an "extended" desktop where multiple monitors
work as one big monitor. You need to set up so each monitor is a "mirror" of
the other. How this is accomplished varies depending on if using a laptop or
desktop and what graphics card is installed.

In general, go to:
START >> CONTROL PANEL >> DISPLAY >> SETTINGS tab >> click on monitor 2 and
there should be an option to turn off EXTENDED DESKTOP (or similiar name) >>
APPLY (2nd monitor should be black now) >> now you need to use settings to
turn on a mirrored image of 1st monitor, you will need to look up info on
your video card's manufactures website (either ATI, NVIDIA or Intel Xtreme
Graphics).
