how can i switch off the autodetect function from a laptop
especiouly compaq and hp, from the vga output without the
original videocard drivers? i want to connect differnd
projectors to the laptops ans the new hp and compaq
laptops wont eat it because the dont recognise the
projector. and so will not sent a higher resolution then
640x480. so where and how can i scwitch the autodetect
function off in the registry key or something like that?

Doesn't toggling the output (on my Toshiba it's the Fn-F5 keys) allow
you to turn off the projector, then connect a new one, then toggle it
back on again?
