Prohibited attachments

Hello

Outlook (Office 2003 + updates) has just refused to send a Webpage cos of
'a poentially dangerous attachement' (apparently a ".url")

But I can't see the attachment and there is nothing visible on the page
either that looks like an attachement (just a link to a .html page)

What exactly is going on?

Where is the offending attachement and what will the receiver get if I send
the message?

Thanks

Outlook never refuses to send a file. What is actually does is warn you that the recipient might not be able to open the file. You won't be able to remove the .url link file either, once you send the message or save it in Drafts. Whether the recipient can see the .url link file depends on their mail application.

For sending web pages, use a text link only and delete the .url file that IE may add if you use its Send command.
