programs won't start

Hi,

I can't seem to run any programs. I usually click on the
icons on the desktop and they work but now nothing seems
to work. I tried all the icons in start>programs and even
running something from the task manager and now luck.
What can cause this and how can I fix it?


Any help would be great.

Good chance that it is. Is it just *.lnk or is it *.exe that wont run?

Yes, I update daily, the MSOE.dll won't execute either.
